I finally started touch typing
Hey everyone,
so today i want to tell you all how i started touch typing. so over the years, i never bothered to take touch typing seriously. even back then in school when out computer lab was teaching touch typing, i subsonciously developed my own method of typing and over the years i just kept on improving it and i actually get to 80wpm and the funny part was i looked at the keyboard here and there.
so i started touch typing during last month Feb of 2026, and i was frustrated as my speed dropped but over the time its only march and i can go till 78wpm already. and while i was practicing touch typing i found out about home row mods, so i did started using that. because i use a normal keyboard which is Evofox Katana X2 i had to use kanata to achieve the same level of customization a QMK keyboard provides.
so i started learning touch typing using the sites edclub, keybr, and monkeytype.
honestly, i never thought in just two months i would reach 78wpm even after changing the entire style, lets see where it will take me.
